The Necessories Grand Fireplace Kit creates a stunning focal point for your backyard. The pleasant glow of a flickering fire and the comforting heat will make every night on your patio especially homey, especially on brisk winter nights.
At more than eight feet high, and up to twelve feet wide (with wood boxes), the Grand Fireplace is the perfect centerpiece for your outdoor living room. Its appeal comes from its large profile, universal design, and aged appearance. Includes Fmi’s Tuscan 36" stainless steel, a wood-burning insert, log rack, 4' chimney, spark suppressor, and spark curtain.
The Necessories™ Grand DIY Outdoor Fireplace Kit can be assembled in an afternoon, but still, have the polished look of a professional install. It comes with all the pieces and step-by-step instructions, and there is no cutting, guesswork or hassles involved.
Before planning your landscape project, it's recommended you check with your local zoning commission for building restrictions and required construction permits.
*Build times assume two people with limited skills and base work is completed prior to construction.
**Before building your Gas Burning Log Set, check with your local zoning commission for building restrictions and required construction permits. Use a licensed/professional plumber for gas line service installation.
*Necessories Kits sales are final and cannot be returned due to the manufacturer’s policy.*
Necessories kits feature Rockwood Retaining Walls’ multi-piece, tumbled Lakeland and Riverland wall systems. Their earthy color variations and aged appearance enhance the architectural style of any home. All kits are available in three color choices.
Necessories mantels, caps, and tops come from Silver Creek Stoneworks and look and feel like hand-chiseled natural stone. All caps and tops come in Indiana Limestone (gray) color.

Can this fireplace be made in a see through option?
Unfortunately, no - our Grand Fireplace Kit by Necessories cannot be used to create a see through fireplace, but we have a few fireplpaces that are see through. Check it out here.
I'm considering installing the Grand Fireplace Kit by Necessories with the Weathered Oak Gas Log Set. Where would the LP line need to be located in relation to the fire box? Does the Weathered Oak Gas Log Set require power for an igniter? I would like to trench the LP line in before putting the base down for the fireplace. Rod
The Weathered Oak Gas Log Set does not have an electrical ignition. It lights like a portable propane heater where you turn the control knob and hold the center switch while lighting it with a match. The hole for the fuel line comes in from the back and is located near the center of the firebox.
